The best exotic car for your trip depends less on horsepower and more on what you're doing with it. Here's how we help customers choose, occasion by occasion.
For a night out in South Beach
You want the roof down. The Audi R8 V10 Spyder is the classic Miami night car: a naturally aspirated V10 you can hear with the top lowered. The Corvette C8 Z51 gives you mid-engine performance and a removable roof panel at a much friendlier price. Bringing two friends? The Rolls-Royce Dawn is a four-seat convertible, so everyone gets the open air.
For an arrival people remember
Nothing turns heads like dihedral doors, and the McLaren GT has them. For pure luxury, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the definitive statement, and its rear coach doors make every arrival feel like a red carpet.
For groups and luggage
Picking the family up at MIA or heading out with the crew? The Lamborghini Urus seats up to five and still has room for bags, so the group arrives in something exotic. The Mercedes G-Wagon also seats five, with a little more headroom.
For weddings
The Cullinan is our most popular wedding car, with the Bentley Continental GT Speed close behind for a sunset getaway. For a top-down exit after the reception, many couples choose the Rolls-Royce Dawn. See our wedding car rentals page for more.
For business travel
The Mercedes GLS 600 Maybach has a rear cabin built for executives, and it's available with a driver through our chauffeur service. For someone who wants to drive themselves, the Audi S5 Sportback and Maserati Grecale are comfortable and understated.
For photo and video shoots
The McLaren GT, Lamborghini Urus and Mercedes G-Wagon are the most-requested cars for music videos and social content. They photograph beautifully against Wynwood murals or the Brickell skyline.
On a budget
The Porsche Macan is our most affordable rental, and the S5 Sportback and Grecale are close behind. All three give you a real luxury experience for a long weekend without supercar pricing.
Tips for driving in Miami
- Heat: in summer, convertibles are at their best in the morning and evening. Midday sun is strong with the roof down.
- Rain: afternoon showers are common from June through September. They pass quickly, so plan open-top drives around them.
- Luggage: the McLaren GT has a real luggage area under its rear glass, but most supercars only fit a couple of small bags. Bringing suitcases? Choose an SUV.
- Miles: a trip up to Palm Beach or down to the Keys adds up fast. Check each car's included daily miles and extra-mile rate before you plan a long drive.
